Introduction to NuConomy Studio Integration
NuConomy is a next generation analytics and optimization platform. By using NuConomy, not only will you be able to better understand and measure your business, but you will also be able to dynamically use the data to optimize your online presence and realize the full potential of your business.
NuConomy is a ‘bottoms up’ analytics platform in that it measures all activities on-site at the user level. A huge benefit of this is that literally any view of your data (by market segment, by content type, by geography, etc.) is available within seconds and can be quickly and easily defined by you.
What can I measure using NuConomy?
NuConomy goes beyond “simple” measurements like page views and allows you to measure
any activity on your site.
Our API was built to easily work with many technologies, such as Ajax, Flash and videos. It is up to you to define what drives the value
to your website and, hence, what is important to track. Depending on what your core
business is, you may wish to track activities ranging from ad impressions to comments
to video play time. Our system allows you the flexibility to define the exact activities
you want to measure.
Additionally, our flexible API allows you to track and measure an unlimited number
of activities on your website (e.g. some of our customers track over 50 activities).
You are not constrained to measure just page level activities; rather, you can easily
track different activities on different content pieces that appear on the same page.
Examples of activities are page views, comments, ratings, postings, media uploads,
purchases, adding friends, etc.
This flexible and comprehensive tracking capability empowers you to regain control of and optimize your website to achieve your business goals. You do not have to define everything you want to track from day one. We recommend starting with some core activities. With our flexible system you can easily add more later on, if necessary.
NuConomy Integration Options
NuConomy offers a variety of integration options for you to choose from:
- JavaScript API
- Adobe Flex ActionScript API
- Microsoft Silverlight API
- Backend REST/SOAP-based API (for integration through your backend systems like PHP/Ruby or .NET)
All of these APIs offer similar functionality. When determining which API(s) to implement, you should think through what you wish to measure and where that data is most accurately and most easily retrieved.
